  • Advice and management, before the Insured’s Ombudsman and before the General Directorate of Insurance and Pension Funds, in matters of client claims.
  • Defence in legal proceedings in the Civil, Criminal, Administrative and Labour fields, throughout the country and in Portugal.
  • Advice on the negotiation, drafting, revision and legal interpretation of insurance contracts for the coverage of large risks.
  • Advice on the design of distribution structures adapted to the Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD), drafting of agreements, support in multi-channel strategies and optimisation of sales processes.
  • Advice on corporate operations (mergers, spin-offs, global assignment of assets and liabilities) and on negotiating strategic alliances (bancassurance operations).
  • Advising on the legal, commercial and tax aspects of insurance companies’ products, the organization of the activity and structure of business groups at the domestic and international levels, transfer pricing policies, and assistance in tax and litigation procedures.
  • Recurrent labour advice, including advice on Employment and Supplementary Social Welfare Pension Plans and Funds, and implementation in organisations.
  • Preparation of legal opinions in the insurance sector.
  • Conduct and Good Practices; adaptation to European and national regulations; defence in litigation before the control authority and in court.
  • Advice on real estate transactions: purchase and sale of property or portfolios, leases, swaps, administrative concessions, surface rights, acquisition of real estate companies, etc.
  • Advice on regulatory law, including relations with the insurance authorities, drafting and reviewing policies.
