EXPERIENCE
He has experience in drafting notes relating to new regulations from a competition perspective (Complaints Directive, Waste and Contaminated Land Act, DVBER, DVGL); researching case law and precedents for the resolution of competition consultations and reports at national and EU level; documentary review in relation to anti-competitive issues or agreements; drafting notes and presentations for compliance and training programmes (compliance manual, internal whistleblowing channels, Legal Professional Privilege, Dawn Raids); representation of companies for alleged bid-rigging infringements before an Autonomous Regional Competition Authority; drafting of responses to RFIs from the EC and National Competition Authorities (EU and LATAM); notes and commitments relating to second-stage mergers; drafting of complaints before the Audiencia Nacional, appeals before the Supreme Court and appeals before the Constitutional Court.
Prior to joining BROSETA, he worked in firms such as Bird & Bird, Ashurst and Zunzunegui Abogados, as well as in the 15th Court of First Instance of Madrid.
He has been deputy editor of the publication World Competition, published by Wolters Kluwer, and member of the Advisory Board and Editorial Board of ELSA Spain Law Review, the legal publication of the Spanish National Group of ELSA (The European Law Students’ Association).
