Civil society’s views on the future of Europe

FIDE Foundation has published the first document of its Working Group “Convention on the Future of Europe“, a compilation of reflections that, under the title “Civil Society’s Views on the Future of Europe“, set out their views on ways to improve and strengthen the European Union.

The document has been directed by Susana del Río Villar, a member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts, independent expert of the European Commission and academic director of the European Cycle EU-BROSETA, and has had the participation of Jose Manuel Gonzalez Jato, senior lawyer in the Tax Law department at BROSETA, who reflects on the work of State aid in the field of taxation in the context of the crisis of the COVID-19.

Among the different reflections are also the opinions of personalities such as Judge Amanda Cohen BenchetritVicente J. Montes Gan, director of the Rafael del Pino Foundation, and Josep Piqué, former Minister of the Spanish Government, among others.
