BROSETA strengthens its Employment practice with the incorporation of Anaïs Cobo in the Barcelona office
As part of the Horizon 25 strategic plan, which aims to consolidate BROSETA among the leading national legal services firms with the best Talent, the Firm has added the lawyer Anaïs Cobo to lead BROSETA’s Employment Law practice in Barcelona.
With a degree in Law and a Master’s Degree in Human Resources from ESADE University, Anaïs has more than 10 years’ experience as an employment lawyer in large legal services firms, advising companies on all matters arising from the practice (including employment and Social Security matters, occupational risk prevention, international mobility, business reorganisations, due diligences, employment policies, etc.).
Prior to joining BROSETA, Anaïs worked in firms such as Deloitte, Jiménez de Parga and, more recently, Baker & McKenzie, where she has been employed for the last 7 years. She has also been a collaborating lecturer in Employment and Social Security Law at ESADE and has participated on a regular basis in conferences and publications in her area of specialisation.
For Rosa Vidal, Managing Partner of BROSETA, “the recruitment of Anaïs gives a decisive boost to our Employment Law practice in Barcelona, consolidating the growth project that we started a few months ago in this region with a profile of proven experience”. For his part, Toni de Weest Prat, partner at BROSETA and director of the Barcelona office, considers the incorporation of Anaïs “an extraordinary reinforcement that will allow us to offer companies a better and more complete service and which will strengthen the ambitious and exciting project for the future in which we are immersed”.
With this addition, the Firm’s Employment practice is now made up of around twenty qualified lawyers, including partners Marta Alamán, Enrique Hervás and Alberto Fernández Irízar, specialised in all areas of Employment and Social Security Law, who provide, from the Firm’s offices in Madrid, Valencia, Barcelona and Lisbon, comprehensive advice on issues affecting labour relations in companies.
