BROSETA participates in the International Conference on Entrepreneurship
With the aim of analyzing the importance of an optimal relationship with its stakeholders (employees, suppliers, customers, funding entities, partners, etc.) for the development of successful business models for entrepreneurs, the International Bar Association (IBA) has held a new edition of the International Conference on Entrepreneurship in Barcelona.
BROSETA, represented by Julio Veloso, Partner and Head of the Commercial Law Department, was one of the firms present at the Conference, along with firms such as Ashurst, Bartolome & Briones, Clifford Chance, CMS Albiñana & Suárez de Lezo, Cuatrecasas Gonçalves Pereira, Dentons, DLA Piper, Fornesa lawyers, Garrigues, Gómez-Acebo & Pombo, Hogan Lovells, Jausas, Linklaters, Monereo Meyer Marinel – lo Abogados, Osborne Clarke , Perez Llorca, Ramon y Cajal Abogados, Roca Junyent, Rousaud Costas Duran and Uría Menéndez.
The Congress focused attention on the relationships between entrepreneurs and their interest groups from a comprehensive point of view: investment and financing; innovation; management of the talents of future generations; counselling in a global context; the new paradigms in technology and business, which occasionally are moving faster than the law, etc.
With professionals from more than 30 countries, one of the important conclusions was the role of law firms in the generation of value to entrepreneurs, providing both legal solutions and advice in the field of business development, the search for new models of service, or internationalisation.
The IBA is the most important global organisation for the practice of the legal profession, and brings together professionals, bar associations and associations related to legal practice. It has more than 40,000 associate lawyers and 200 schools and associations from around the world, and its aim is to ensure the development of International Law and the legal profession in the world.
