BROSETA participates in the Conference “The Independent Directors in the Valencian Company”

The Valencia Business Confederation (CEV) and the European University (UEV) have organised the conference “The independent directors in the Valencian company: new challenges for Boards of Directors” that has seen the participation of, among others, Alejandro Ríos, partner of BROSETA and Head of the Valencia Office.

During the session the main questions related to Boards of Directors were addressed: what is the contribution to strategy by the independent directors, who can be incorporated into the Board, how often does this figure add value, how to evaluate the real needs of the Board according to the time the company going through, which abilities they have and what are the objectives of their participation.

Salvador Navarro, President of the CEV, and Rosa Sanchidrián, Postgraduate Director of the UEV, were responsible for presenting the session and introduced a colloquium involving our own Alejandro Ríos; Eva Turanzo, Director of International Accreditation in Boards of Directors and Corporate Governance and CEO of Italento; Miguel Burdeos, President of SPB, and Juan Latorre., partner of KPMG and an Independent Director.
