BROSETA participates in the B for Planet Congress
Rosa Vidal, managing partner of BROSETA, participated as a speaker at the B for Planet Congress, an initiative held in Barcelona that brought together business people, scientists and political figures from all over the world to reflect on the sustainable development objectives for the coming years, and on the involvement of companies, institutions and organisations in the 2030 Agenda and in economic and social growth.
The meeting, which emphasised the importance of public-private collaboration and the role of women in sustainable development, was attended by members of the Spanish Government, the Government of Catalonia and Barcelona City Council, as well as members of the UN, the OECD and the World Bank.
The conference was also attended by professionals from the private sector, such as Antoni Ballabriga, Global Head of Responsible Business at BBVA; Carla Coloma, ESG Director at Fluidra; Carmen Gómez-Acebo, Head of Sustainability at Coca-Cola European Partners; Javier Rivera, Head of Corporate Strategy at Seat; Angel Simón, President of AGBAR, and Isaías Taboas, President of RENFE, as well as government ministers Nadia Calviño, Reyes Maroto and Teresa Ribera, among others.
Rosa Vidal took part in the round table “Gender equality, essential for economic growth“, in which, together with Montse Moliner (Foretica), Anne Kuriakose (World Bank), Alicia Egea (Barcelona City Council), Patricia Sanz (ONCE) and Daniel Truran (B Lab Europe), they reflected on the position of women and the relevance of their professional drive for economic and social growth.
