BROSETA consolidates its position in Portugal
With the aim of boosting the firm’s growth in Portugal and reinforcing its commitment to the Iberian market, BROSETA has set in motion the process for the integration of the Portuguese office into the BROSETA structure, with the consequent changes in the corporate structure and in the composition of its shareholding.
In this way, BROSETA – Portugal, Sociedade de Advogados, SP, RL, will cease to be an independent company, becoming one more of the company’s physical headquarters, incorporated into the management of the rest of the Firm’s structure. For Manuel Broseta, Chairman of BROSETA, “within the framework of the BROSETA Horizon 25 Strategic Plan, this is a further step in the promotion and consolidation of the firm’s position as an Iberian reference firm, and a commitment to this path of international growth after the road travelled since the incorporation of BROSETA Portugal almost five years ago”.
Álvaro Roquette Morais, the Firm’s current managing partner in the Portuguese market, will continue to head the Portuguese office, and adds to this position that of partner at BROSETA with a seat as a member of the Board of Directors in Spain. According to Roquette, “this is the satisfactory, expected and desired result after the trajectory of the firm’s establishment in the Portuguese market, which takes another step forward with the full integration of the firm”.
These changes represent the full assumption of the BROSETA brand within the Portuguese market, as a natural evolution of its trajectory in the Iberian market, following constant organic and corporate growth; and the strength of the financial results since the incorporation of BROSETA Portugal. The Lisbon office from which BROSETA offers services in Portugal has tripled its turnover since its opening in 2018.
For Rosa Vidal, Managing Partner of BROSETA, “these changes in the corporate structure respond to a new cycle of expansion of our activities in Portugal, for which the commitment to technology and talent will be key factors for growth”.
Iberian scope and international positioning
BROSETA has had an office in Lisbon since 2018, an opening that has given the company an optimal location to offer a fully Iberian service to its clients.
In addition, it has three physical offices in Spain, with a presence in Barcelona since 2022; in Valencia since its origins; and in Madrid since 2007.
The Firm’s regional positioning is completed with the Zurich office, where the organisation has been present since 2013, and with the leadership of the Ibero-American Legal Network, an alliance of law firms in Latin America with a presence in 20 countries and more than 1,000 lawyers, establishing
