BROSETA joins the Foundation of Justice for the Valencian Community
BROSETA and the Foundation of Justice for the Valencian Community have signed a collaboration agreement whereby both organizations will work together in the development of integration projects aimed at groups suffering from social exclusion. With this collaboration BROSETA becomes the Foundation’s Ambassador for justice.
The Foundation of Justice is a private non-profit organization whose objective is the defence of human rights in Spain and in the poorest countries of Africa, Asia and Latin America. It has among its aims the promotion of a change of attitude and behaviour in society based on justice, peace, equity and equality of rights and opportunities between women and men, as well as to promote social and occupational reintegration of groups with difficulties.
Through this collaboration, BROSETA will perform, among other functions, corporate volunteer work with their professionals, training, awareness-raising and cooperation, and action in social integration projects.
Recent projects highlighted by the Justice Foundation include the development of a morning school for children in Nazaret (Valencia), and Agrosolidaris (in Campanar, Valencia) an organic farming centre that is a training project aimed at people at risk of social exclusion, whose ultimate goal is the creation of agricultural cooperatives for the production and marketing of products.
In the field of Corporate Social responsibility, BROSETA, in turn, is part of the global pact, which promotes the United Nations, the largest voluntary initiative of corporate social responsibility in the world, and collaborates with many organizations both social and humanitarian, such as Caritas, Oxfam Intermón, the Vicente Ferrer Foundation, Manos Unidas, or Casa Caridad in Valencia.
